Man, it has been a REALLY busy couple of weeks. On Wednesday the 11 I went on a field trip to the Houston Livestock Show and gave tours to elementary students. It was a lot of fun and my group was predominantly Spanish speaking so I got to practice a bit of Spanish I’ve been learning with Rosetta Stone. Around 1 pm my dad picked me up from there to go to the airport to catch my flight to Philadelphia to visit my friend, Ana, from my trip to Peru! We had SOOO much fun and we toured just about every city in the Northeast including NYC and D.C. I got back from there on Saturday and on Monday my dad and I left for Port Bolivar for a three day hurricane recovery mission trip. It was a good trip and we were able to do a lot of work on the chruch we were reparing. Although it was hard to see all the devistation from Hurricane Ike, it was overall an uplifting trip and reminded me of how much I love the mission field. It would be impossible to tell you all the stories from the last few weeks so I think I’ll just put up a few pictures for you to look at and if you want any stories or details on the pics just let me know! And of course there are TONS more picutres on my facebook if you would like to check them out.

  1. i want to hear all about it in person sometime… sounds like an experience… both your trip to philadelphia and port bolivar. hope to hear about it soon!

  2. The pictures reminded us everytime the Philippines is hit by typhoons. We never thought that in other countries like Port Bolivar has almost the same seen of poor houses.
